As a Meeting & Event Specialist, you are at the heart of our clients' event journey! From sourcing the ideal venue and negotiating the best deals to creating a seamless booking experience, you help turn every request into a successful event.

What you'll be doing
- Manage the complete venue sourcing and booking process for meetings and events.
- Advise clients on the most suitable venues based on their requirements and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and venue partners.
- Negotiate competitive rates and conditions to create the best value for clients.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the booking journey.
- Accurately process booking and event information in our platform.
- Collaborate with international colleagues to achieve team and company goals.
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of Meetingselect.
What do you bring?
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Leisure, Tourism, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within Hospitality, Meetings & Events, or the MICE industry.
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
- You are based in the Amsterdam area.
- A proactive and independent mindset, while also enjoying working in a team.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- A solution-oriented attitude and eagerness to learn.
- The ability to remain calm and focused in a dynamic environment.
- Tech-savvy to be able to work with our technology platform
- Flexibility to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously.
- A collaborative spirit and passion for delivering outstanding service.
